I hate everyone thats not a trucker

I was taught to work at an early age, my father made me work and was hard on me growing up..At the time I didn't like it, but however, he shaped me into a hard worker..So thank you FATHER for teaching me how to work..The newer generation has no concept of a work ethic..Sure, there are exceptions, but for the most part I've got to admit, the younger generation has no work ethic..They see themselves as all important..A fallacy in itself, nobody is important and can be replaced easily..Not you, nor I, or nobody else..One of the outside drivers told me my nickname.."Speed-demon"..I had no clue of this, but when you have a lot of stuff on your plate you have to be that way..I can't help it its my nature..I get it done..Whether I drive or dispatch I get things done..The newer generation has been so babied its sickening..I'm old school in attitude when MEN where MEN..Got a cut use some tape kind of attitude..I really do hope we have some hard times or else this generation will be the end of us all...VM-out!

Once again I have to vent, I am so sick and tired of people that come into this business thinking this is a 9-5 job..I'll tell you what trucking is..Its a 24-7-365 job..If you want bankers hours do something else..Every trucking job I've had has had its goofy hours thats just the way it is..I don't particularly like the hours I work but the thing is I ACCEPT IT..Don't bother to even get a CDL if you can't handle that..Why is America going downhill?..Because, many Americans want the bennies but don't want to put out the effort to get them..SPOILED!!! I don't particularly like my job but I do what I have to do to get it done and get paid..I know what I have said has probably upset some but I really don't care..I am disappointed in the quality of truckers out there that think this biz is a gravy train..Its not, I sacrificed a lot and still do on a daily basis..If the old timers had to deal with the same nonsense they'd say the same..I guess I am a throwback when Americans had a sense of duty and responsibility..VM-out!
